Interested and ready to take the plunge with us at Lone Tree Crossfit?

This is for you.

If you’re new to CrossFit, a Lone Tree Crossfit membership requires the completion of two Foundation classes. These instructional sessions will teach you the basic movements and Olympic lifts we use in CrossFit. Everything we do can be scaled to your specific fitness level and strength. Foundations also incorporates mobility, nutrition, and gymnastic movements. Foundations is offered the following days:

Saturdays- 11 – 1
Sundays – 11am*

Please be sure you’re able to complete all two Foundation classes in a timely manner. New members must complete all two classes, in order to join the group WODs. If you’re unable to make a class, you can make it up by scheduling a private session with a LTCF trainer. Private training session; $65.00 an hour.

The price for Foundations is $200, which includes unlimited group WOD classes through the rest of your first month—that’s a great jump start to your new fitness regime!

Here’s a breakdown of the movements you can expect to learn.

Day 1:
Assessment
Squats – Air Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat, Back Squat
Presses – Shoulder Press, Push Press, Push Jerk
Deadlift – Deadlift, Sumo Deadlift, Sumo Deadlift High Pull
Olympic Movements – Hang Clean, Power Clean, Clean and Jerk, Snatch, Med Ball Clean

Day 2:
Gymnastic Movements – Pushup, Burpee, Pullup, Knees to Elbows, Toes to Bar, Ring Dips, Muscle up, Handstands, Lsit
GHD – Back Extensions, Situp
Other Common Movements – Thruster, Wallball, Kettlebell Swing, Jump Rope, Rowing
Nutrition – The Zone, Paleo, Progenex, Fish Oil
Mobility

As a member, if you are interested in reviewing any lifts or exercises, please let us know—we’re always happy to help.

Also, if Foundations class times do not work for you, please contact Roger directly (roger@lonetreecrossfit.com), and you can setup a one-on-one session with him, at a designated time, please note these sessions require an additional fee.
